When you think of pirates some of you may think about Captain Pugwash or Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean. However, piracy is alive and well of the coast of Somalia.The link below shows the distribution of the pirate attacks:

I think this is a really interesting issue and one which will continue to only get bigger in time. Just remember that there are often deeper political reasons as to why a pirate my be a pirate.
